Boat Launch 2023
The boat launch docks will be installed when the City of Selkirk staff deem conditions safe for installation. The installation date will be posted here and shared via the City of Selkirk’s social media platforms when the date is determined. Boat launch removal is weather dependent and historically occurs near the end of October to mid-November.
With each boat launch pass, you can park your vehicle and trailer in the Boat Launch/Campground Parking Lot. Seasonal passes will be honored until the boat launch closes and the docks are removed at the end of the year. Daily boat launch passes will be available until the boat launch closes and the docks are removed.
Boat launch users must only park their vehicle and trailer in the Boat Launch/Campground Parking Lot. Please park on the gravel area of the parking lot and not on the grass.
Parking in the boat launching area, beyond the timeframe to launch your boat, will result in ticketing,
Please do not park in or block the Accessible/Handi-Cap designated parking spaces. Do not park in open camping sites, this can result in your vehicle being ticketed and towed.
Note: you do not receive a physical pass to display in your vehicle. You will receive an email confirming your purchase that you can save for your records or any possible purchase disputes. Please check your junk/spam mail for the confirmation email if it does not appear in your inbox.
An electronic database is generated and used to verify pass holders.
