Welcome to the Selkirk Park Campground!

The Selkirk Park Campground is a private campground operated by the City of Selkirk.

Selkirk Park Campground is nestled in Selkirk Park along the banks of the Red River. The Campground has 165 camping sites, 135 with power, and access to water is shared for all sites.

Several amenities are just steps away from the Campground including our boat launch with access to the Red River, the Selkirk Park Pool and Splash Pad, Skate Park, Dog Park, Agricultural Society Grounds, the Marine Museum of Manitoba, and many trails for those seeking the benefits of nature.

Selkirk Park Campground opens on May long weekend and closes to camping on the Thanksgiving weekend in October. Please note that these dates may change, so check back often for updates. The Campground is not available for winter camping.

2023 Camping Reservations

The reservation system for 2023 bookings will open to the general public on April 4, 2023, at 9:00 am.

Campsite reservations are only accepted online.

New seasonal campers can book a campsite when the reservation system opens to the public on April 4. The Selkirk Park Campground does not have a separate process for booking new seasonal guests. We do not designate specific sites or a section of the campground for seasonal camping, therefore if a campsite is available for the season when the reservation system goes live, that site can be booked as a seasonal.

The 2022 returning seasonal camper application and deposit process has now closed. If you were a seasonal camper in 2022 and did not meet the deadline please email us.

A returning seasonal is defined as a camper from 2022 that booked 94-124 consecutive nights on one campsite. (Note the length of stay required to qualify as a returning seasonal in a typical year would be 113-143 consecutive nights, however, due to flooding and the delayed opening, the nights were reduced to accommodate the shortened season).
