Boat Launch users: Launch at your own risk
Boat launch is now open. Please note that the mooring dock sustained damage, and it is being repaired.
The Boat launch is available for use during Selkirk Park hours, Monday-Sunday, 6:00 am-11:00 pm. Boaters must vacate the park by 11:00 pm when the park gates close.
Boat Launch Parking Permit
A boat launch parking permit allows you to use the launch and park your vehicle and trailer in the Boat Launch/Campground Parking Lot. Both seasonal and daily permits are valid until the boat launch closes and the docks are removed at the end of the boating season.
Boat launch permits are non-transferable and are limited to one per vehicle.
Boat launch permits can be purchased online at any time by selecting the appropriate option below.
When making online purchases, users must:
- Print the email confirmation or checkout page showing the purchase and vehicle details
- Place the document clearly on the vehicle dashboard
- Note: Mirror hanger passes are available at the campground office with proof of online purchase during office hours
In-person purchases may be made at the Campground Office during office hours. Campground Office opens on Friday, May 15, 2026.
- Sunday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday – Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Note: to avoid long line-ups at the Campground Office, we suggest purchasing your permit online in advance
Either the printed email confirmation/check out page (online purchase) or the mirror pass (in-person purchase) must be visible in your vehicle in the Boat Launch/Campground parking lot.
Launch and Parking Procedures
After launching, boaters must:
- Move the boat to the mooring dock
- Immediately relocate their vehicle and trailer to the designated Boat Launch/Campground Parking lot
Parking is not permitted:
- In the boat launch loop
- Within the campground
- In any undesignated areas
- Note: Failure to comply may result in ticketing
Closures and Special Events
The boat launch will be closed July 10-12, 2026, for the Triple S Fair and Rodeo.
- Parking will be limited in Selkirk Park during the week leading up to this event
- Boaters are advised to check in with the campground office for alternate parking locations during this time to avoid ticketing
- Permit users are advised to ensure a valid email address is provided at the time of purchase so we may advise users of any unexpected closures
